CLEAN YOUR MATTRESS:
Pour about 1 cup of baking soda into a Mason jar & drop in 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Put on lid & shake jar. Using a kitchen strainer, sprinkle the baking soda mixture all over the mattress & let it sit for an hour or more. Thoroughly vacuum the mattress. Bye, bye dust mites, & other nasty things. The baking soda helps draw up any moisture & deep dirtiness. It deodorizes & leaves the mattress smelling fresh & clean

Vinegar as a cleaning solution
Some cooking ingredients prove to be the best cleaning solutions. One of them is vinegar. Vinegar is as famous for its cleaning properties as much as it is as a food ingredient. This common household liquid has the power of a magician when it comes to removing stains and giving things a natural shine. Vinegar is an all purpose cleaner and works on almost everything. It works perfectly on not just metal but also wood and fabric. Vinegar is especially effective against grease marks. Unlike other household cleaning solutions, vinegar is free from chemicals and does not harm the material you are cleaning. From the kitchen to the bedroom and washroom, use vinegar to clean and shine up the place till it sparkles.
Make the solution:
You cannot sue undiluted vinegar on its own because it is too strong and harm the material. Make a solution composed of half vinegar and half water. Fill it in a bucket and use a clean cloth to dip into it. Another option is to fill it in an empty spray bottle and spray it on the surface you want to clean up. Wipe it with a cloth or sponge then. For stronger stains, you can use a small amount of pure vinegar. However, it is always best to check for colour change and damage before applying pure vinegar on a surface.
KITCHEN
Vinegar can take off the stains on your counter top and give it a natural lust. Use a cloth to wipe vinegar on to the surface and clean off. You can also clean the stove using this solution. Even better, vinegar solution can be used to clean the floor and shine it up. Vinegar also removes odours and stains from jars and containers.
BATHROOM
Like the kitchen, vinegar solution can be sued here to clean the floor. Spray some solution on the mirror and wipe it clean with a clean cloth. For the toilet bowl, pour in pure vinegar and scrub it around to get rid of the yellow stains. Use vinegar on any bathroom fixture that you want to clean. It is also a big disinfectant. Vinegar can also be used as a fabric softener. When you are loading your clothes to a full cycle, add 1/2 cup of vinegar into it instead of the fabric softener you use. Not only does it break the detergent well but also disinfects the clothes.
Tips & Warnings – Using pure vinegar on marble floors can destroy the texture and eat away the tile grout.
Add Orange Peel for a more Citrus smell.
